    We are looking for a talented Director of Development to help us double in size over the next 5 years!  This position is responsible for expanding our brand and business footprint by executing dental practice partnership within assigned territory or markets. The primary focus of this role will be to build and manage a pipeline of qualified leads, due diligence research, participate in investment valuations, negotiating transaction terms and contracts, and integrations planning. The Director of Development will work closely with the VP of Development to drive new partnerships.  Additionally, this position is further responsible for developing and maintaining trusted relationships with other key decision makers within the assigned territory and markets.  Regional Focus of position:  IL, IA, MO, KS & NM


    NOTE:  This is a remote position located in the Chicago metro area.

    Business Development

    • Support business development outreach efforts by collaborating with senior management and across the organization to achieve strategic partnerships
    • Research potential acquisition opportunities, evaluating strategic and financial value to the organization
    • Source practice transition (acquisition) opportunities through multiple channels - preferably direct
    • Create custom proposals for target organizations
    • Act as a full closer, building relationships and teeing up meetings, preparing business cases and presentations, and assists in closing all major deals
    • Educate doctors and industry participants on our culture, philosophy, and patient care model
    • Develop and maintain long-term relationships with general dentists in a multi-state region
    • Works collaboratively with the VP of Development to revise and innovate on a corporate strategy for how to acquire and execute on future business development leads


    • Bachelor’s degree and four (4) or more years of relevant experience.
    • Experience with mergers/acquisitions and the health care/dental industry a huge plus!
    • Ability to articulate the strategic synergy between two organizations to structure a winning partnership
    • Superior written and verbal communication skills
    • Excellent analytical abilities including financial analysis and modeling skills
    • Ability to independently create a compelling, quantifiable value proposition and model
    • Excel experience and proficiency in Microsoft Office suite required, Salesforce experience preferred
    • Effective leadership style & strong business acumen
    • A valid driver’s license

    Work is performed in from home office. Travel to potential business partners in division. Position requires up to 50% travel including overnight.
